(More customer reviews)This product was recommended to me by an outdoor equipment mechanic. They described it as "like butter for the engine". I had had a sarting problem with my snowblower at the beginning of the season. I swore I put Sta-Bil in the gas when I put it away, but it smelled old. I had to resort to cleaning the carburator to get it to run right. The mechanic advised that today's gas deteriorates quickly. He does not buy much more than he will use because of this. He puts Briggs & Stratton fuel stabilizer in the gas jug as he fills it at the gas station, then uses it for his recreation and yard equipment - ALL year long. (My biggest mistake at the end of the year was that I should have ran all the gas out of the snowblower (gas with the stabilizer in it - and NOT left any in the tank. The mechanics use B&S stabilizer in every engine they work on and leave the rest of the bottle on the handle of the equipment. They have seen a dramatic decrease in problems as a result. I believe it! I added some to my two motorcyles and ran them. Now when I sart them periodically (still in winter storage), they start immediately. I bought a few bottles because I intend to take the advise of the mechanic. I will use it all year in my gas. Try it. You will see a difference.
