(More customer reviews)What a great lamp! I bought this lamp to use with my garden tractor when clearing snow in the winter. The snowblower housing and discharge chute on my snowblower blocks about 80% of the light from the factory lamps on the front of the tractor, so I needed an auxiliary light that could be easily repositioned depending on the conditions (ie: not permanently fixed to the snowblower). I place it right on top of the metal snowblower housing and the strong magnet keeps it in place very well without moving or requiring reaiming (even with the heavy vibration of the snowblower). The magnetic base and pivoting housing allow for infinite aiming positions making this lamp very versatile for what I use it for. In the winter, it is often covered with snow and it has held up very well. Its flood pattern casts a very broad light pattern in the snow making it very easy to see what I'm doing. It also is very bright which means that cars see me clearly at night even in heavy snowfall. I would recommend it for any outdoor use quick setup it required and a broad light pattern is desired.
